Maruti Fronx SUV: Maruti Suzuki introduced the first electric car at Auto Expo 2023 and another SUV apart from Maruti Jimny. The special thing is that the look of this SUV looks a lot like the Mini Grand Vitara. The arrival of this car in the Indian market was being talked about for a long time and it was said that it would be based on the Baleno. Maruti has named it Franks. It will be sold through the company’s premium Nexa outlet and the company has also started booking it. It is to be launched soon in the Indian market. This is the company’s sub-4 meter SUV, which will compete with Tata Punch to a great extent. Since it comes with the same SUV character as the Baleno, the Maruti Baleno is also at risk from the company’s frolics.
Maruti Fronx Exterior
The color scheme and overall look of the Maruti Franks might remind you of the Baleno, while the headlamps and front grille are similar to the Grand Vitara. It gets silver-colored roof rails, body-colored ORVMs, and alloy wheels. This car of the company will be available in 6 mono-tone and 3 dual-tone color options. It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2,520 mm.
Maruti Fronx Interior
Its interiors get a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel, and head-up display. Its feature list will include 360-degree cameras and over 40 connected car features. Dual tone theme in the cabin, matte finish on the dashboard.
Maruti Fronx SUV Engines
The Franks compact SUV will be available with two petrol engines. It will be powered by the 1.2-liter K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT unit that produces 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine will be in a five-speed manual and five-speed AMT. The second is a 1.0-liter K-series turbo petrol engine, which generates 99bhp and 147.6Nm of torque. It is available in a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
