Skoda Kodiaq Sales Growth: Segment leader Toyota Fortuner has sold a total of 1,603 units in December 2022, while no other SUV in the category has even crossed the 500 units sales mark last month. However, compared to 1,827 units sold in December 2021, Fortuner sales have been down by 12.26 percent. Not only this but there has also been a decrease in sales on a month-on-month basis. In November 2022, 1,967 units of Fortuner were sold, in December 2022 this figure decreased by 18.51 percent. Still, its market share is 76.12 percent. Despite all this, the Toyota Fortuner was on top of its segment in terms of sales, but something went wrong. The segment’s Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster beat it in terms of sales growth.
Skoda Kodiaq sales up 94.55 percent
Speaking of sales volume, the Skoda Kodiaq is currently nothing in front of the Toyota Fortuner, but if we look at the increase in sales on an annual basis, then in December 2022, the Skoda Kodiaq will win. In December 2022, Skoda Kodiaq sales have increased by 94.55 percent on an annual basis. A total of 55 units were sold in December 2021, which increased to 107 units in December 2022. At present, its market share is 5.08 percent. Launched last year, the 2022 Kodiaq facelift is priced between Rs 35 lakh to Rs 37.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
