In many companies, holidays are also adjusted in lieu of the notice period. Apart from this, there is also an option of payment in lieu of the time notice period. That is, you will have to pay the company on the basis of basic pay.

In many places, it also happens that companies buy the notice period. This means that the company settles the balance amount of salary and the payment made in lieu of the notice period as full and final also known as F&F.
