Maruti Suzuki Ciaz launched with new safety features: Price starts at Rs 9.20 lakh

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2023: Maruti Suzuki is constantly updating its vehicles. The company has recently updated its Baleno, Ertiga, and XL6. The company recently unveiled a new version of the well-known sedan automobile Maruti Ciaz. Its exterior now sports a dual-tone color and various safety measures. However, neither its engine nor its comfort features have changed. Overall, now it has become more beautiful and safe than before. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and hill-hold assist are now made standard across all variants of the Ciaz. In addition, it has ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors for safety.

What has changed on the exterior

Talking about the exteriors, the Ciaz will now be offered in three colors – Pearl Metallic Opulent Red, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray, and Dignity Brown with a dual-tone finish with a black roof. There are now a total of 10 color options, including 7 monotone colors. Only the top-spec Alpha models, both manual and automatic, come with the dual-tone option.

The list of features and engine

Specifications remain the same. Along with automatic LED headlights, automated climate control, passive keyless entry with push-button start, and cruise control, it also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The engine remains the same as before, 1.5-liter petrol mild-hybrid engine (105PS/138Nm). It has a 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearboxes. Its mileage is up to 20.65kmpl.

Price 
To increase the safety features, the company has not made any change in the price. However, customers who opt for the dual-tone color option will have to shell out Rs 16,000 more than the monotone colour. Maruti Ciaz price ranges between Rs 9.20 Lakh to Rs 12.35 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It rivals the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and the Skoda Slavia.
