According to the calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in March 2023, private and public sector banks will remain closed for 12 days. The first bank holiday starts from Chapchar Kut on the 3rd of March and other holidays like Gudi Padwa / Ugadi festival / Bihar Divas are falling on the 22nd of March. Banks in some states will observe holidays as per the RBI calendar. There are four Sundays in March which fall on March 5, 12, 19, and 26. The second and fourth Saturdays are on March 11 and 25. RBI has declared holidays on March 3, 7, 8, 9, 22, and 30 under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Apart from this, there are six bank holidays in March 2023 as per the RBI calendar.
