Motorola is reportedly working on launching a new clamshell foldable smartphone called Motorola Razr 2023 in the market later this year. While the brand is yet to reveal anything about the Motorola Razr 2023, a new leak has surfaced that gives us a working clue on what to expect from the device, at least when it comes to its design. As per the leaked renders, the Motorola Razr 2023 will have a large cover display and will either feature an under-display selfie camera or skip it altogether.

Motorola Razr 2023 first look leaked via design renders

As seen in the leaked render images above (posted by renowned tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), this is what the Motorola Razr 2023 could look like. The cover display of the device occupies almost the entire top rear panel, which houses the dual camera setup along with the LED flash. The exact size of the cover display is currently unknown, but we can expect it to be around 3.26 inches, similar to the one found on the OPPO Find N2 Flip.

Moving to the main display, surprisingly, the Motorola Razr 2023 does not appear to have any sort of cutout for the selfie camera, which could mean that the device could have an under-display front camera or skip it altogether. Could The latter is also a plausible theory considering the fact that the outer cover display could potentially be used as a viewfinder to take selfies, that too via the device’s main camera. This could eliminate the need for a hole in the display, ensuring a more immersive viewing experience.

The specifications of the Motorola Razr 2023 are currently unknown, but we can expect the upcoming foldable from the brand to be powered by a flagship processor by either Qualcomm or MediaTek.
