Almost ten months after it was banned in the nation, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is at last back on the App Store. The game’s creator, Krafton, said on Friday that it will return and would soon be downloaded from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Android users can download the game from the official website of BGMI by clicking on the play button, which will take them to the download page even if the game is currently unavailable for iOS devices.
Notably, the BGMI game
does not launch when downloaded from the website’s URL, and it is not currently listed in the App Store. As a result, a lot of people are experiencing difficulty playing the game. After numerous users reported this issue with the game’s Android version, the developer made an official announcement.

The closed test track for BGMI has been enhanced, according to a statement from Krafton, and players who opted into the game’s public test before launch can now download it from the Google Play Store. However, due to a technical issue, some clients are unable to download the game.
Why BGMI was prohibited
In a series of events that started in September 2020, MeitY ordered the initial ban of PUBG Mobile and 117 other Chinese apps in India. In response to this setback, the publisher of PUBG Mobile, Crafton, worked with the authorities to relaunch the game as BGMI, with adjustments made specifically for India. Sadly, this relaunch was just temporary because BGMI soon found itself under another ban.
90 days of availability
Recently, Krafton announced that BGMI would be returning to the App Store, albeit with a 90-day trial period. The Indian government will monitor the match at this time. In the event of a violation, the government will once more take stern action.
