Rs 500 note may be fake! know how to identify a fake note

The RBI recently announced the withdrawal of the Rs 2000 note. According to the RBI, 2000-rupee notes can be deposited in the bank or changed. The 500 rupee note will continue to be the largest note on the market following the 2000 rupee issue. However, do you know if the Rs. 500 note you hold is genuine or counterfeit? Customers can distinguish between real and phony Rs 500 notes with the use of information provided by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). You can use this method to determine whether the 500 rupee note you’re carrying is real or fraudulent.

The Reserve Bank of India’s Governor has signed the Mahatma Gandhi (New) series of laminated notes, which have the “Red Fort” as their motif, representing the nation’s rich cultural legacy. Stone Grey is the hue of the base note. Both the obverse and reverse of the note have additional artwork and geometric patterns that complement the overall color scheme. The size of the note is 63 mm x 150 mm, according to RBI.
