The Google Pixel Fold is very popular. After its launch, there was a lot of discussion. But it wasn’t until then that the phone started to ring with several issues. People who purchased the phone were angry. One day after the Pixel Fold smartphone was introduced, reports of a cracked and damaged screen arose. The Pixel Fold was formally unveiled last week, as The Verge reported.
Dent entered the phone
According to Ron Amadeo of Ars Technica, when the phone was closed from both sides, a tiny particle might have entered the tiny ‘hole’ of the inner screen between the screen protector and the bezels and damaged the panel. A Fold user also reported this on Reddit.
The Noticeable pink line on the screen
Another Fold user noticed a scratch and some unpleasant screen protectors peeling off. In addition, a user stated that after just a few hours, a bright pink line developed on the phone’s internal screen.
Google offers walk-in and mail-in repair options for the Fold.
And this sounds like the kind of damage that would be covered by the warranty, the article stated. Google spokesperson Alex Moriconi responded to inquiries concerning instances of shattered displays by saying, “We encourage anyone with a problem to visit our support option to investigate.”
