Prices will drop under the Ujjwala program.
According to information obtained from the government, the cost of LPG cylinders will be cut by Rs 200 as part of the Ujjwala scheme. This choice was made during today’s cabinet meeting, which PM Modi presided over. A 200 rupee per cylinder supplementary subsidy has been authorized under the cabinet Ujjwala scheme. The national government’s decision will result in an additional cost to the government of roughly Rs 7500 crore.
Since March, the rates have not altered.
If we’re talking about gas cylinder costs, then the cost of home cooking gas in Delhi on August 1 was Rs. 1103. Similarly, a petrol cylinder costs Rs 1102.5 in Mumbai, Rs 1129 in Kolkata, and Rs 1118.50 in Chennai. Since March, there has been no change in the cost of household petrol cylinders. Commercial petrol cylinder costs have changed considerably in the same period.
