Oil firms have now drastically reduced the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders after cutting the cost of home gas cylinders by Rs 200 in August. Oil companies have significantly reduced prices for commercial LPG cylinders as of September 1. The price of an LPG gas cylinder has decreased to Rs 1522.50 for the second consecutive month. Prior to that, the price of the cylinder decreased by Rs 100 in August while increasing in price in July.
New prices that will take effectÂ
The price for a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has decreased from Rs 1680 in August to Rs 1522.50. The government already reduced the price of home LPG cylinders by Rs. 200 starting on September 30. In Delhi, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic petrol cylinder has decreased from Rs 1103 to Rs 903 due to this drop. The Ujjwala Yojana’s beneficiaries will profit the most from the price drop.
The price of the cylinder is Rs 703
The government previously provided a 200 rupee subsidy to 10 crore recipients. The incentive they now receive has increased to Rs 400 per cylinder as a result. Accordingly, they will now pay Rs 903 for the cylinder and receive a rebate of Rs 200, making the cylinder only cost them Rs 703.
New rate effective as of September 1:
On September 1st, the new commercial gas cylinder tariff went into effect. Commercial petrol cylinders in Delhi are now available at Rs 1522.50 instead of Rs 1680. Similar to this, you will be required to pay Rs 1636 in Kolkata rather than Rs 1802.50. This cylinder was formerly offered in Mumbai for Rs 1640.50, however, it is currently available for Rs 1482. In Chennai, the cost has dropped from Rs. 1852.50 to Rs. 1695. As of September 1, the price of a petrol cylinder in Delhi is Rs. 1522.50 while in Kolkata, it is Rs. 1636.
