SUV sales in India have been strong throughout the final month of September. With 15,325 units sold in September 2023 compared to 14,518 units sold in September 2022, the Tata Nexon is India’s best-selling SUV. In other words, its annual revenues have climbed by 6%. Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which sold 15,001 cars, came in second place after this. Notably, one of these two SUVs continues to be the best-selling SUV each month, and Nexon surpassed them both in sales in September.
Tata Punch came in third position after this.
It has established a significant foothold in the market. With total sales of 13,036 units in September 2023, it was in third place. The company’s sales have grown by 6% annually. In September 2023, the Hyundai Creta became the fourth best-selling SUV in India. In comparison to the 12,866 units sold in the same month last year, the South Korean automaker has sold 12,717 Cretas.
Hyundai Venue was in fifth place after all of these.
A total of 12,204 subcompact SUVs were sold, which is a significant increase of 11% from the previous year.
