A notification on the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, and Primary Teachers has been released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSEH), Haryana. The application deadline for the Haryana TET 2023 exam is November 10, 2023, for those who wish to take the test. Applications can be found on the HBSE website at htet2023.in and bseh.org.in. On November 11 and 12, corrections to the application form can be made.
Date of HTET Exam 2023
The PGT Level 3 exam will be administered by the board on December 2nd during the evening session from 3 to 5 p.m. The morning session of the TGT Level 2 exam is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additionally for PRT Level 1, the test will be held in the evening shift on 03 December 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The HTET 2023 formal notification is now available. Applicants can submit an online application by going to the BSEH website. On the 30th of October, 2023, saw the notification sent. Applying online is possible through the official website until November 10th.
Qualifications for HTET 2023
In order to be eligible for the HTET, candidates need to meet the requirements listed below.
- For Primary Teacher (PTET): a valid Teacher Training Diploma (TTD) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree and a 12th grade pass with 50% of the possible points.
- Qualifications for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs): 50% on graduation and a current B.Ed.
- Valid B.Ed. degree and master’s degree with 50% marks are required for postgraduate teachers (PGTs).
Qualification Marks for HTET Notification 2023
Except for the SC/ST of Haryana category, all categories must receive 60% (90 marks) to qualify for the HTET 2023. The minimum score required for Haryana’s SC/ST category is 55% (82 marks).
