The market for sport utility vehicles, or SUVs, is growing rapidly. SUV sales have surged in demand. SUVs, in particular, are selling well. Over the past few years, sub-4 meter SUVs have gained a lot of popularity. If you’re considering purchasing a subcompact SUV in this scenario, hold off a little longer. There will be four new models available. Come, let’s discuss them.
EV TATA PUNCH
The Punch EV is set to launch in the Indian market by Tata Motors. It will be priced competitively with the Citroen eC3. Similar to the Nexon EV family, this electric micro SUV is anticipated to be offered in two trim levels: medium range and long range. The trim in the middle range can provide an estimated range of around 200 km and the long range trim can give an estimated range of around 300 km.
KIA SONET FACELIFT
The redesigned Kia Sonet is now available for reservation. Prices will be disclosed, and delivery is scheduled to begin in January 2024. There are three trim levels in the subcompact SUV lineup: HT-Line, GT-Line, and X-Line. It has Level 1 ADAS installed. In addition, there is a front ventilated seat system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 4-way power driver seat, a seven-speaker Bose sound system, and a smart clean air purifier.
Toyota Taiser
Early in 2024, Toyota Kirloskar Motor plans to introduce a subcompact SUV based on the Maruti Suzuki Front. We may refer to it as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser. It is anticipated that the vehicle will sport a redesigned bumper, newly designed alloy wheels, and a new front grille. The 1.2L naturally aspirated engine may power the Taser and 1.0L Boosterjet petrol engines, producing 113Nm/90bhp and 147Nm/100bhp respectively.
XUV300 MAHINDRA FACELIFT
In February 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra might unveil the redesigned XUV300 subcompact SUV. The vehicle may receive a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox in place of the current 6-speed AMT unit while maintaining the same engine configuration. It can also have an ADAS system and a panoramic sunroof that are first-class.
