Mahindra XUV 3XO is set to launch on April 29 with a panoramic sunroof

Mahindra is giving the XUV 300 a total makeover, with a new name, upgraded amenities, and a fresh appearance. The carmaker has revealed some of the features and design cues of the next XUV 3XO, which is scheduled to make its formal debut in India on April 29, 2024.

From the teaser, what did you see?

As hinted at in earlier teasers and as seen in the most recent one, the new XUV 3XO will have a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, the first of its kind in the segment. In addition, it will include a new digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel, a revised dashboard layout that may resemble the XUV 400, a digital entertainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, and remote AC control via a smartphone. In addition, we anticipate that the XUV 3XO will come equipped with technologies like wireless charging, a 360-degree surround camera, a motorized driver seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and dual-zone climate control.

Combat and the engine

The 1.5-liter diesel engine, 1.2-liter NA gasoline engine, and 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine are the same powertrain options available for this SUV. Six-speed AMT gearbox and six-speed manual transmissions will be available as options. Following its release, the Mahindra XUV3XO will face competition in the segment from the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. There is one diesel and one petrol engine available for the Tata Nexon. Both engines are available with manual or automatic transmissions. This SUV has received a facelift update from Tata Motors.

There will be an EV model available as well.

In addition, Mahindra is getting ready to release its SUV in electric form, which should hit the streets by the end of the current year. The market-leading Tata Nexon EV, which has a range of up to 465 kilometers on a single charge, will compete with this electric SUV.
