Mercedes has introduced the redesigned Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 in India, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 3.35 crore. This car costs approximately Rs 39 lakh more than the upgraded model. This facelift includes a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine update along with visual and functional improvements. This engine has been modified and can generate up to 557 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque at its peak using a 48V integrated starter generator. For transmission tasks, a 9-speed automatic gearbox has been installed.
Features and Specifications
According to the manufacturer, the Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 facelift can reach a top speed of 250 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. It has a 4WD setup with a 4Matic system. Although standard are adaptive dampers, a fully active suspension with exclusive Maybach drive mode is also available. Minor changes have been made to its interior. The updated GLS 600 has been given the latest-generation MBUX software, which includes new graphics, updated telematics, hand gestures for better commands, and a fingerprint sensor.
It also receives redesigned AC vents and a new steering wheel.
The back bench seat can recline up to 43.5 degrees and has massage and ventilation features. Black and dual-tone Macchiato Beige/Mahogany Brown Nappa leather upholstery is available to customers. In addition, the dashboard comes in two distinct finishes: anthracite open-pore oak wood trim and brown open-pore walnut wood trim. Additional features include dual rear 11.6-inch MBUX screens, Mercedes’ renowned Energizing Package, Maybach-specific ambient lighting, a 590W Burmester 3D surround sound system, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and a central tablet on the fold-down armrest. First-class lounge chairs with a center console, a refrigerator section with champagne flutes bearing the Maybach brand, a manufactured leather package, and many more features are included.
Exterior
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 facelift’s front design has added a new grille and bumper. Additionally, it receives LED taillamp signatures and new Maybach-specific tailpipes. The traditional deep-dish monoblock 23-inch Maybach wheels are an option, but multispoke 22-inch wheels are the standard. In addition to dual-tone hues, the revised GLS 600 is available in three monotone color options: Black, Silver Metallic, and Polar White.
