The June bank holiday schedule has been made public. The Reserve Bank of India releases the list of holidays before each fiscal year. The RBI’s list indicates that banks will take a lengthy vacation in June. They are going to be closed for ten days. These holidays do, however, differ between states and cities. In this case, it would be best to leave your house after seeing the list if you need to visit the branch in June for any bank-related business.
When are the banks going to stay closed in June?
Banks will be closed for ten days in June 2024. In addition to the three-day government holiday, banks will be closed on five Sundays and two Saturdays. The month is going to start with a holiday. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on the occasion of Bakrid/Eid-ul-Azha, Raj Sankranti in June. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on June 18. During the bank holiday, you can transact money through online banking, mobile banking, and ATMs.

2 June: Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
8 June: Banks across the country will remain closed on second Saturday.
9 June: Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
15 June: Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Raj Sankranti.
16 June: They will remain closed on Sunday across the country.
17 June: Across the country, they will remain closed on account of Bakrid/ Eid-Azha.
18 June: In Jammu and Kashmir they will remain closed on account of Bakrid/ Eid-Azha.
22 June: They will remain closed on the fourth Saturday.
23 June: They will remain closed on account of Sunday.
30 June: They will remain closed across the country on Sunday.
The stock market closes when?
In June, the stock market will be closed for eleven days. In June 2024, there won’t be any stock market trade for eleven days. In addition to the ten Saturday-Sunday days, the stock market will be closed on May 17, Bakrid Day.
