Commercial LPG cylinder prices decreased
The nation’s oil companies voted to lower the cost of 19 kg commercial cylinders on Monday. Following this ruling, the cost of a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi, the nation’s capital, has decreased by Rs 30 to Rs 1646 per cylinder. Meanwhile, in the financial capital Mumbai, it is being sold for Rs 1598, cheaper by Rs 31. The price of a commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata has become cheaper by Rs 31 and has reached Rs 1756. At the same time, the price of commercial gas cylinders in Chennai has become cheaper by Rs 30 and has reached Rs 1809.50 per cylinder. At the same time, no change has been made in the prices of domestic LPG.
Modifications to ICICI Bank’s credit card policies
Beginning on July 1, ICICI Bank, a significant private sector bank, modified its credit card policies. The bank has chosen to alter several credit card-related service fees. Customers would now need to pay Rs 200 for a new card rather than Rs 100. In addition, the bank has modified the service fees for charge slips, pink-up fees for checks or cash, etc.
Modifications to the SBI credit card restrictions
Additionally, SBI Credit Card has chosen to modify significant guidelines about its credit card as of right now. Credit card members are no longer eligible to receive reward points for any type of government transaction. These regulations are now in force.
Minors will not get petrol here
Now the government has decided to take strict measures to prevent minors from driving in Uttar Pradesh. Now people below the age of 18 years will not be given petrol for two-wheelers or four-wheelers at petrol pumps. These rules have come into effect from July 1, 2024.
Revisions to PNB bank account guidelines
Customers of Punjab National Bank, the nation’s second-largest public sector bank, have good news. The bank has decided to cancel accounts that have been inactive for more than a year starting on July 1. The consumers were notified a few days prior by the bank. Clients who had no transactions in the previous three years and had a zero balance were requested to complete their KYC by June 30. Beginning on July 1, the bank closed the accounts of those who failed to comply.
In this state, women would receive financial assistance of Rs. 1500
The Maharashtra government has initiated the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana to provide financial assistance to women. Under this scheme, women will be given financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month. This scheme will be implemented from today i.e. 1 July 2024. Women between 21 and 60 years can avail the benefits of this scheme.
Changes made in SIM card rules
Given the increasing cases of fraud, TRAI has changed the rules of SIM cards. Earlier, in case of SIM card theft or loss, you used to get another SIM card from the store immediately, but now its locking period has been increased to 7 days. The new rules have come into effect from July 1, 2024.
