Beginning on the first of next month, a lot of things will change. The regulations about credit cards to Aadhaar card will alter. In addition, starting on September 1st, TRAI’s regulations to reduce bogus and undesired calls will also take effect.
No Unwanted Calls
All telecom firms have been directed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to move business calls and texts, beginning with the 140 mobile number series, to a new blockchain-based platform. Following TRAI’s stringent restrictions, it is anticipated that the general public will be spared from fraudulent calls and messages.
Modifications to credit card laws
Beginning on September 1, there will be significant modifications to the credit cards offered by HDFC and IDFC FIRST Bank. HDFC Bank has changed the credit card loyalty program on credit cards. At the same time, IDFC FIRST Bank has made major changes in the rules of credit card payment like Minimum Amount Due (MAD) and Payment Due Date. HDFC Bank customers will now be able to earn a maximum of 2000 points in utility transactions every month. At the same time, IDFC Bank has reduced the due date of payment from 18 to 15 days.
Helmets will be required for pillion riders on two-wheelers
On all two-wheelers starting in September, the pillion rider will have to wear a helmet. However, this regulation is currently in effect. However, it will now be strictly enforced. If there is a violation, a Rs. 1035 challan would be generated. Additionally, a driver’s license suspension is an option.
Aadhaar card update for free until September 14
Up until September 14th, there is no cost associated with updating one of the necessary documents—the Aadhaar card. You can alter your Aadhar card’s name, address, and birthdate for free during this time.
A bank account is required to file a GST return.
It will be required starting on September 1 to supply bank account information required for GST returns. Under GST Rule 10A, taxpayers will have to update their bank account details on the GST portal within one month of receiving the registration number. Otherwise, GST returns will not be filed.
