In India, Suzuki has introduced a new motorcycle. The Suzuki GSX-8R is a middleweight supersport motorcycle. The ex-showroom pricing is Rs 9.25 lakh. Earlier this year, this bike debuted at the India Mobility Expo. Three color options—metallic matte sword silver, metallic triton blue, and metallic black no. 2—will be offered for this bike. This bike can compete with the Triumph Daytona 660 and the Kawasaki Ninja 660, among other bikes.
The engine of the Suzuki GSX-8R
The GSX-8R has a short, raised rear portion, elegant air intakes, and vertically stacked LED headlights. A 776 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 81.8 horsepower and 78 Nm powers the motorcycle. It delivers power that is nearly equal to the Tata Punch. This engine is shared with Suzuki’s V-Strom 800 DE ADV. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and also has a bi-directional quick-shifter.
The Suzuki GSX-8R’s features
The Suzuki GSX-8R is equipped with two 310 mm front discs and one 240 mm rear disc for stopping power. It has Dunlop Roadsport 2 radial tires on 17-inch wheels. Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System is one of the GSX-8R’s most notable features. ABS, ride-by-wire technology, low-rpm help, and 4-step switchable traction control are among its three riding modes. A 5-inch color TFT-LCD console is also included.
