Internship for Researchers: This internship is open to students enrolled in any recognized university or institute, whether in India or internationally.

Internship for Students: Niti Aayog offers internship opportunities for students and researchers. Should you meet the eligibility criteria, you may submit your application by going to the Niti Aayog website. Submit your application online on the Niti Aayog website from the 1st to the 10th of each month. It is possible to apply 2 to 6 months before the month in which you wish to undertake the internship.

As an example, for an internship in April, the application period is from October to February. Your application will be valid for the month you applied for.

Concerning the internship:

• There are no fees for this internship.

• The duration can range from 6 weeks to 6 months.

• To obtain an experience certificate, you must have attended 75% of the time.

• Upon finishing the internship, your advisor will provide you with a certificate.

Eligible applicants:

• Students enrolled in any accredited university or institution, whether in India or internationally.

• Undergraduate students: Must have passed the 4th-semester examination or completed the 2nd year and must have achieved a minimum of 85% in class 12th.

• Postgraduate students: Required to have finished either the first year or the second semester and to have achieved a minimum of 70% in their undergraduate studies.

• Research Students: Should have a minimum of 70% in undergraduate studies.

What will be received:

• Laptops must be provided by the interns themselves.

• NITI Aayog will offer a workspace, internet access, and other essentials.
