Goli Soda: In the UK, Goli pop soda has quickly gained cult status among consumers who enjoy the fusion of classic Indian flavors with a contemporary twist.

India’s export: Goli Soda, a traditional Indian beverage, is in high demand elsewhere. The Ministry of Commerce’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) declared on Sunday that Goli Soda is in high demand in major foreign markets, such as the US, UK, Europe, and the Gulf nations.

According to APEDA, its test exports to the US, UK, Europe, and Gulf nations under the new Goli Pop Soda brand have been a success. According to a statement released by APEDA, regular supplies to Lulu Hypermarket, one of the biggest retail chains in the Gulf, have also been made possible by the strategic alliance with Fair Exports India. Lulu stores have stocked thousands of bottles, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly favorable.

According to APEDA, “Goli Pop Soda has quickly become a cult favorite in the UK, attracting customers who enjoy the blending of classic Indian flavors with a contemporary twist. This is a significant step in promoting India’s rich beverage history internationally.

APEDA also sponsored the flag-off event hosted by ABNN on February 4, 2025, to commemorate this accomplishment. Additionally, it was Goli Pop Soda’s formal worldwide debut.

Combining contemporary packaging with nostalgia

A key turning point in India’s attempts to market and export its own food and beverage goods is the resuscitation of Goli Soda, which was on the verge of going extinct because of the domination of global beverage firms. According to APEDA, Goli Pop Soda has been effectively reintroduced to customers worldwide by fusing nostalgia with contemporary design.

In addition, on March 17–19, 2025, APEDA presented Goli Pop Soda at the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) London 2025. According to a statement from APEDA, the event gave Indian exporters and entrepreneurs a great opportunity to network with foreign clients, look into new business prospects, and advertise India’s wide range of agricultural and processed food goods around the world.

According to the statement, the product’s increasing popularity in international markets demonstrates that domestically produced Indian flavors can rival those of other countries, creating new export opportunities and bolstering India’s standing in the world’s food and beverage industry.
