Google has introduced a function for Android users that is similar to the iPhone. Sharing location is made simple with the tool Find Fam & Friends.
An iPhone-related safety feature has finally made its way to Android after a protracted wait. Google has begun implementing the “Find Fam & Friends” function in the latest version, which is intended to protect friends and family. It was initially made accessible for Pixel devices in the March update, and it will be made available to all users worldwide in the upcoming weeks. We’ll see how this feature functions.
Locate Your Friends and Family
The customer will find it simple to find out where his friends and family are thanks to this feature. This function will alert you as soon as any of your friends or relatives arrive in a location, such as a mall, college, or workplace. In a similar vein, it notifies you when you go home. The user’s concern over the security of friends or relatives who have gone out is lessened by this feature. Users will no longer have to send their location individually. About two years ago, the “Check-in” feature was added to the iPhone.

How is this functionality going to function?
This feature is now included in Google’s Find My app. The “People” tab will now show up in this app. It enables users to share their current and live location with friends and relatives. The family member’s phone’s Find My app will display the shared location. For privacy, you can also choose a period. The user is free to choose the time frame that best suits his needs. Only during that period will other users be able to access the location. When the allotted time is up, location sharing will end.
