According to a statement released by the Indian army, reports of an India-China clash in the Galwan Valley are false.

The Indian Army has once again issued a statement in response to reports of an India-China standoff in the Galwan Valley between Indian and Chinese forces, clarifying the situation.

New Delhi: The Indian Army has denied claims that a clash between Indian and Chinese troops occurred once again in the Galwan Valley (India-China Face-off). The Indian Army has released a statement in this regard, stating that the matter has been clarified.

Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed, according to the army.

‘According to media reports, there was a face-to-face encounter between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley,’ the Indian Army stated. It has been confirmed that there was no such clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh in the first week of May 2021.

‘Attempts to sabotage the ongoing reconciliation effort’

‘This claim appears to be influenced by those sources who can try to undermine the ongoing process for early resolution of the issues in Eastern Ladakh,’ the Indian Army said in a statement. In addition, the army has stated that no report should be published unless it has been confirmed by an army officer or an official source.

The Indian Army is now involved in a process to resolve difficulties.

‘We have noticed the minor face-to-face with Chinese forces in Galvan Valley,’ the Indian Army claimed in a statement published in The Hindu on May 23, 2021. It has been confirmed that there was no such clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh in the first week of May 2021. In East Ladakh, a process is ongoing to resolve the concerns as soon as possible.
