The Modi government of Central runs several programs to improve the farmers’ economic situation. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is one of the Center’s most ambitious programs. By the plan, PM Modi deposited 2,000 rupees through DBT on July 27 to the accounts of more than 8 crore farmers. Along with the PM Kisan Yojana, millions of farmers across the nation would receive a monthly gift of Rs 3000. Additionally, this money will only be deposited into the farmers’ accounts.
Each month, 3000 rupees will be deposited into the account.
Along with the PM Kisan Yojana, the Centre also launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana (PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana), which provides farmers with financial support. The government would deposit Rs 3,000 into each farmer’s account each month as part of the PM Maandhan Yojana. The plan includes a clause that allows farmers to receive a monthly pension of Rs. 3000. The premium for the plan is subtracted from the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana payment. You must fill out a separate form for this.
What is the required premium amount?
Farmers are required to make monthly contributions ranging from Rs 55 to Rs 200 to benefit from this pension plan. A monthly stipend of Rs 3000 would begin to arrive in the account once the person signing up for the scheme reaches the age of 60. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 may take part in this.
Advantages of the plan
The government launched this program to provide pensions to the nation’s senior farmers. A year’s worth of 36,000 rupees is supplied to farmers under the program. Farmers up to the age of 40 are eligible for the program.
