Before Navratri, the Narendra Modi government gave a significant gift to millions of people across the nation. The amount of the government’s subsidy for the Ujjwala Yojana has been enhanced. The country’s estimated 10 crore citizens will profit from this. The Ujjwala Gas Scheme (PM Ujjwala Yojana) and other significant decisions were made by the government during the cabinet meeting. The government is thought to have pulled off this major coup just before the upcoming assembly elections, which will take place in five states of the nation over the next few months.
A significant gift from PM Narendra Modi
Following the cabinet meeting, Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, informed the media of the choices. He published a piece on X, “Today, the esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave a significant present to crores of mothers and sisters in the nation. Recently, petrol cylinder prices were lowered in observance of Raksha Bandhan. The cost of an LPG cylinder was lowered from Rs 1100 to Rs 900 with a discount of Rs 200. The same cylinder used to cost Rs 700, but Ujjwala users now receive a rebate of Rs 200.
Increased subsidies for the Ujjwala programme
In the post, Anurag Thakur added, “Today the Union Cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi ji has taken a welcome decision to give a subsidy of Rs 300 instead of Rs 200 to the beneficiary mothers and sisters of our Ujjwala (PM Ujjwala Yojana).” This indicates that the LPG cylinder, which was previously available to Ujjwala plan users for Rs 700, is now available at Rs 600. Sincere appreciation to Modi ji for making this choice in favor of mother power before the impending holidays.
You can now purchase a gas cylinder for this price.
Let us inform you that 9.6 crore people nationwide have benefited from the PM Ujjwala Yojana. This program was created by the government to get people away from smoking. Only ladies from underprivileged sections may apply for this program. Petrol cylinders are not only provided for free but also made regularly at reasonable prices. Regarding Delhi, up until now, Ujjwala program participants had to spend Rs 703 for a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder, but thanks to the government’s decision, they would now just have to pay Rs 603.
