to access the Central Record Keeping Agency (CRA) system. You won’t be able to log in without this. PFRDA released a circular on this subject on February 20, 2024. On April 1, the new system will go into effect. The CRA has developed a mechanism to finish the NPS-related tasks. A web-based application system is called CRA. The updated login procedure will go live from April 1, 2024.
What did the circular say?
According to a government circular released on February 20, the decision was made to implement two-factor authentication to ensure the security of users gaining access to the CRA system. In addition to adding additional security elements, this decision was made to safeguard client interests.
Controls NPS
The PFRDA regulates the national pension scheme. The central government is in charge of this pension plan. 1.36 crore individuals were enrolled as of September 16, 2023 (excluding NPS Lite).
