The new BMW motorcycle has been introduced to the Indian market. The BMW M 1000 XR boasts impressive characteristics when it first hits the market. This is the third M-type bike from BAW. In the Indian market, the M 1000 RR and M 1000 R were first released. The M 1000 XR is now available in India. This BMW motorcycle is advertised as the most potent on the road. This bike has also been upgraded with a powerful engine.
The BMW M 1000 XR’s design
The S 1000 XR motorcycle is similar to the BMW M 1000 XR. BMW has given this new bike a sportier look. This bike’s high-speed stability has been further enhanced by the addition of M winglets. A smoked windscreen, split headlights, and daytime running lights have also been assembled in this BMW bike. This bike comes with two new paint schemes and bar-end mirrors. The new paint scheme includes Black Storm Metallic and Light White color. This model has components made of carbon fiber. It consists of parts such as the bike’s wheels, side panels, front wheel cover, ignition cover, inner cover, and rear wheel cover with integrated chain guard. When it comes to weight, this bike is 223 kg in weight.
The engine of the BMW M 1000 XR
The 999 cc, inline 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine powers the BMW M 1000 XR. This engine produces a torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm and 201 PS of power at 12,750 rpm. This BMW bike’s motor is also coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. This bike can reach 200 kmph in just 7.4 seconds and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed of this bike is 280 kmph.
The new bike’s attributes and cost
Bi-directional quickshifting is available on the 1000 XR. There are features including launch control, ABS, slide control, new generation traction control, TPMS, wheelie control, heated grips, adaptive headlamps, shift assistance pro, pit lane limiter, launch control, auto hill start control, and dynamic brake control. There is also a USB charging port. This amazing BMW bike has a very high price. On the racecourse, this bike is capable of intense racing. This new motorcycle from BMW is priced at Rs 45 lakh ex-showroom.
