SSC Stenographer 2025: Apply Now for Grade C & D Vacancies

SSC has begun the online application process for the Grade C and Grade Stenographer positions, and it will run through June 26. Students have these days to complete the form online. The recruiting exam will take place between August 6 and August 11, 2025. Through this recruiting, 261 open positions will be filled.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification regarding the hiring process for the Grade C and D stenographer positions. The announcement states that the application process for this position opened on June 6, 2025, and will run until June 26, 2025. In this case, interested and qualified applicants can apply by clicking on the direct link provided on this page or by visiting the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in, within the allotted time frames. The exam cost must be deposited before June 27th.

On these dates, there will be an opportunity to amend the form.

Candidates will have the opportunity to fix any errors they make during the application process. The adjustment window will be open from July 1st until July 2nd, according to SSC.

Qualifications and Requirements

The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from an accredited board in order to be eligible to apply for that recruitment. Additionally, the transcription must be 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi for Group D positions, and 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi for Group C positions.

Maximum Age

Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply for the position, and they must be at least 30 years old for grade C and 27 years old for grade D. According to the guidelines, candidates from the reserved category would have their upper age relaxed. Age will be determined with August 1, 2025, in mind.

How to apply

Candidates must first complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC’s official website in order to participate in this recruitment. Following OTR, candidates can complete the form via the SSC mobile app or by going to the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in. Each applicant must submit their application and, if appropriate, the fee for their category. Forms that are completed for free will not be accepted.

How much will it cost to apply?

Candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay a fee of Rs 100 in addition to the application. All female candidates, SC, and ST candidates are eligible to apply for this position at no cost. If you want to make changes to the form, you will need to pay Rs 200 the first time and Rs 500 the second time.
