What is the purpose of the Sim Binding feature?

This is a new technology that allows you to log in to only one device from a single phone number. Any other optional number will not allow you to log in. That is, you will be able to log in using the same phone that contains the SIM card for your registered mobile number. You won’t be able to use any other phone to access your app. If SBI users attempt to log in using a different phone number, they will be denied access to their account.\

The capability of online banking has been more secure than previously thanks to this new function. Customers must upgrade their YONO App in order to use it. The new rule was announced by the bank via a tweet on its official Twitter account. Customers can download the YONO Lite App, according to SBI. This app now includes this security feature.

Here’s how you sign up for the YONO Lite App.

If you’re an Android user, go to the Play Store and download the SBI YONO Lite App app, then select the registered mobile number where it’ll be installed (SIM-1 SIM-2)

If only one sim is available, any sim must be chosen.

On the screen, there will be a message. When you click Proceed, a code will be given to your phone through SMS.

Click REGISTER after entering your name and password on the registration screen, and then OK after accepting the terms and conditions.

Following that, you will receive an activation code.

This activation code is only valid for 30 minutes, therefore complete the activation process after writing it in the app.

The YONO Lite App will now be available to users.
