Country’s first AI car: In MG Astor, the company has given a personal AI assistant. Its personal AI assistant has been voiced by Paralympic player and Khel Ratna Deepa Malik. The company claims that this is the country’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) car in the SUV segment.
Autonomous (Level-2) based car: In MG Astor, the company has given 14 such features which make it an Autonomous (Level-2) based car. This technology is strengthened by the 6 radars and 5 cameras given in the car. This enhances the safety of the car and makes the driving experience safer and better.
Strong Exterior of MG Astor: The company has given a bold look to MG Astor. There is a celestial grid on its front. On the other hand, the leopard jump shoulder line gives it the look of a strong car. Another notable feature is its LED headlamps which have a diamond-cut inside which makes it’s front powerful.
Interior theme of MG Astor: The company has given dual-tone color to the interior theme of MG Astor. These colors are based on theme, black, and orange. At the same time, a 7-inch infotainment touch screen has been given in the car. Apart from this, many features like 6 airbags, adjustable driver seat, air filter, panoramic sky roof have been given.
Android Auto, Apple CarPlay will be standard: In MG Astor, the company will provide Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features. With this, the car will get almost all the features of a connected car. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow you to connect the car to the phone. This helps the driver to get the necessary information and entertainment from his phone without distraction.
Engine of MG Astor: The company has introduced MG Astor in 2 engine options. The first option in this will be the Brit Dynamic 220 turbo petrol engine, which will come with a 6-speed auto transmission. It will generate a torque of 220Nm and power of 140ps. The second will be the VTI Tech petrol engine with manual transmission. Its gearbox will be an 8-speed CVT. This engine gives 144Nm of torque and 110ps of power.
Possible price of MG Astor: In MG Astor, the company has given more than 80 smart and internet features. There are also 27 safety features. Right now the company has not officially disclosed its price, but it is likely to start from Rs 11 lakh. The company is going to start its booking from September 19 and from this day this vehicle will be visible in the showroom of MG Motor.
