Chhath Puja 2021: Today i.e. on the evening of November 10, Arghya will be offered to the setting sun. After this, the Usha Ardhya of Chhath Puja will be given on 11th November i.e. on the fourth day and with this, the Maha Chhath festival will be completed. Know its auspicious time
The sixth of Chhath festival (Chhath Parv 2021), decorated with many colors of folk faith, is scattered everywhere. After bathing and eating, now preparations are being made for evening Arghya on the third day. When the rising sun is going in the west direction towards its people, the fasting women and men will offer Arghya to them.
Arghya will be given to the sun today
Arghya will be offered to the setting sun on Wednesday evening. Mahaparv Chhath will conclude after offering Arghya to the rising sun on Thursday. According to astrologers, the time of offering Arghya to the setting sun is between 4:30 and 5:30 in the evening and the time of offering Arghya to the rising Sun is from 6:41 in the morning. In the evening, Arghya is offered with Ganga water. Whereas Arghya should be offered with raw milk to the rising sun.

Ardhya is given to the setting sun
Before going to the ghat, the devotees decorate the items of worship, seasonal fruits, thekua, kasar, sugarcane etc. in bamboo baskets and after that they reach the ghat barefoot from home. After this, take a bath and offer Ardhya to the setting sun. Chhath Puja is the first such festival in which the setting sun is worshiped and Arghya is offered to him. Celebrated in some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and UP, there is a tradition of celebrating this holy festival with great decency, simplicity and faith.
This is recognition
It is believed that in the evening, the Sun God spends time with his consort Goddess Pratyusha. This is the reason that in Chhath Puja, the setting sun is offered Ardhya in the evening.
Sunset time
The time of sunset to offer Arghya to the Sun is 5.30 pm and the sunrise time is 6.41 am on the fourth day of Chhath Puja.
