Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been very much liked in India in the premium hatchback segment. The company launched this car in the country for the first time in 2015 and the facelift model of Baleno was launched in 2019. Now Maruti is going to introduce this car in the market very soon with many more changes and its photo has been leaked on the internet before the official launch. The new Baleno facelift has been seen without any stickers, which has revealed all its cosmetic changes.
Baleno facelift gets a facelift
In terms of design, Maruti Suzuki has given the Baleno facelift a facelift. A redesigned grille and a new bumper have been given in the front part, which is giving a strong look to this car. Apart from this, the headlamps are also seen to be changed which have come with new L-shaped LED DRLs. The side profile of the car is not visible in this photo though it could be the same. Although the company is going to give new alloy wheels with the new car. New LED taillights and a changed bumper have been given in the rear.
No technical changes
Photos of the cabin have not been revealed yet, but a redesigned dashboard and a separate touchscreen infotainment system can be found here. Although the company will not make any technical changes here, such speculations are being made. Two 1.2-liter petrol engines can be found with the new Baleno, one making 82 bhp power and the other 88 bhp power, which has been given Smart Hybrid technology. This engine will come with a 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox. In India, this car will compete with other cars like Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz , and Honda Jazz.
