The Carens, a new three-row SUV from Kia India, will be unveiled on December 16. This new company vehicle could be an MPV, based on design sketches that have been released.
Kia India is set to launch an all-new three-row SUV, the Kia Carens, in India very soon. On December 16, the business will debut this new SUV, which is expected to be an MPV that will compete with the Toyota Innova Crysta, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar. Carens is not a new moniker for Kia; between 1999 and 2018, the business sold MPVs in Korea under the name Carens. This car is marketed as the Kia Rondo on the global market. The company will make a comeback with this new generation car, which will be known as Carens, and India will be the first market to receive it.
LED taillights with a modern appearance
Kia recently released design concepts for the new automobile, which revealed the majority of the SUV’s aesthetic and design features. The Kia Carens will be introduced with the intention of appealing to today’s Indian households. With distinctive LED DRLs, sleek LED headlamps, powerful bumpers, and massive air intakes, the new car will have a split lighting configuration. In the concept sketch, there are also sporty alloy wheels, strong character lines, and roof rails. The LED taillamps are connected by a strip of LEDs at the back of the vehicle.
Cabin digital instrument cluster
The 2017 Kia Carens SUV’s inside features a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV will be available with three rows of seats and will have ventilated seats, 360-degree cameras, and linked car technologies similar to the Hyundai Alcazar. The new Kia SUV will be based on the Seltos, same as the Hyundai Alcazar Creta is based on the tiny SUV. Kia India, on the other hand, will unveil a new SUV with more powerful look and design than the Seltos.
The Hyundai Alcazar is likely to provide a 2-litre petrol engine for the Kia Carens, as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both of these engines will be available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, but only on certain models. We anticipate that the new car will cost between Rs.14 lakh and Rs.20 lakh, and the new Kia SUV might pose a threat to all rival vehicles, as Kia vehicles are equipped with the most advanced amenities.
