Indian Railways: Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, work is being done on high-speed trains by the Indian Railways. The construction work of the semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express is going on at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) located in Chennai. PTI sources claim that Vande Bharat’s third advanced train will leave ICF soon.
Plan to increase the capacity of ICF to 10 trains
According to other sources, the third train would depart from Chennai’s Integral Coach Factory (ICF) on August 12 for trials. Beginning in November, the train is anticipated to travel a unique path through South India. Let us inform you that ICF can prepare six to seven Vande Bharat trains per month. The capacity is now being increased to 10.

Bharat Train is also being manufactured at Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala and Modern Coach Factory in Rae Bareli. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally flag off the third Vande Bharat train following its successful test run. 100 to 180 kmph will be the range of test speeds for the train. Kota (Rajasthan) to Nagda will serve as the train’s test route (Madhya Pradesh). The train will be granted the green signal for the commercial route following two to three successful trials.

On 15 August 2021, PM Modi talked about running 75 new Vande Bharat trains in view of the convenience of crores of rail passengers. There are currently two Vande Bharat trains traveling throughout the nation from Delhi to Katra and Varanasi. According to the Railways, 75 Vande Bharat trains would begin operating on the rails by August 15, 2023, as promised in PM Modi’s declaration. The passengers will be extremely happy once the second Vande Bharat shipment begins to move along the tracks.

PM Modi can flag off the train from Chennai, according to sources as well. It hasn’t, though, received official confirmation. In the new Vande Bharat, many new features have been given keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the passengers. Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also went to ICF, Chennai to review the train construction. By the end of August 2023, the government hopes to have 75 Vande Bharat trains finished.
