Wrong Side Driving: Driving on the wrong side is a violation of traffic rules. For this, the traffic police deduct the challan and the person driving in the wrong direction has to pay the fine. But, now the Gurugram Traffic Police has made the rules more strict for those who drive from the wrong side. In fact, the Gurugram Traffic Police has increased the fine for driving from the wrong side up to 10 times. Now a challan of Rs 5,500 will be deducted for those driving from the wrong side in Gurugram. The amount of fines has been increased for a smooth traffic system in the city.
Increase in the amount of fine by Rs 5,000
According to the new traffic rules of Gurugram, the traffic police will deduct a challan of Rs 5,500 for driving from the wrong side, whereas earlier it used to challan only Rs 500. Actually, a challan of Rs 5,000 will be deducted for dangerous driving. which will be combined with wrong-side driving, bringing the total fine up to Rs 5500. That is, for driving on the wrong side, the police will deduct challan for both dangerous driving and wrong side driving. Similarly, violators will have to pay a total fine of Rs 5,500 including Rs 500 and Rs 5,000.
