1. Maruti Fronx CNG
Maruti Suzuki will launch the Fronx compact SUV in April. It may also get a CNG version. The Fronx CNG is expected to be available with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that develops 90 hp and 113 Nm in petrol mode and 77 hp and 98.5 Nm in CNG mode. It can only be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. This will be the fourth Nexa car to come in a CNG version. Talking about the price, it can be about Rs 1 lakh more expensive than its petrol model.
2. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG:
Maruti Brezza continues to be one of the best-selling cars in the country. Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza will soon be available for sale in CNG avatar. It was introduced at the 2023 Auto Expo. It will use a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and will be available only with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is expected that it will be offered in several variants.
3. Tata Punch CNG:
Tata Punch CNG was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo last month. It will be launched only in 2023. The Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine and a five-speed manual transmission. The biggest feature is that twin cylinder technology has been given in it. In this, the 60-liter CNG tank is divided into two parts. This has been done to maintain boot space in the car. The company has placed the spare wheel under the boot floor.
