The Realme GT Neo 5 recently debuted as the first phone with 240W fast charging support. Now it looks like the brand is working on a lite version of the phone. While some reports suggest that the phone may be called the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite, conflicting claims suggest that the handset will debut as the Realme GT Neo 5 SE. Whatever the name, the phone will be an affordable version of the Realme GT Neo 5. Now, the GT Neo 5 Lite/SE specifications and a clear render have surfaced online, courtesy of noted tipster DigitalChatStation.
The Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE is expected to launch in China in April and will likely compete with the Redmi Note Turbo, which is slated to launch around March.
GT Neo 5 Lite/SE design
The render of the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite shows the rear design of the phone. There is a large camera module that houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. We see a C-shaped unit on the right but the tipster claims that the phone will not have RGB lighting or a transparent cover. The phone can be seen in white color but there could be other variants at the time of launch. The back has the text “Matrix PORF 1.79 f/EFL 25mm” engraved on it.
Realme GT Neo 5 Lite/SE specifications (rumoured)
Compared to the standard Realme GT Neo 5, the Realme GT Neo 5 Lite will have a few drawbacks. While the size of the display is unknown at the moment, the GT Neo 5 Lite/SE will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm SM7475 chip, most likely the Snapdragon 7+ Gen1 SoC.
The Realme GT Neo 5 Lite is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The leak states that instead of the 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor on the standard GT Neo 5, the phone will feature a 64MP OV64M primary camera.
