A major update came out on Monday concerning the PM-Kisan Scheme. PM Modi provided a huge relief to over eight million beneficiaries in the program on Monday. PM Modi has announced the 13th installment amounting to more than 16,000 crores for participants of the scheme. The beneficiaries are paid Rs. 6000 each year. An installment of 2000 rupees is distributed three times over the course of a year.
It is important to note that PM Modi has also inaugurated
the newly renovated structure of Belagavi Railway Station in Karnataka. And dedicated it to the nation. Passengers will have world-class amenities at the station. The station was redesigned with a price of around $190 million. Along with this, PM Modi also dedicated the rail line doubling project between the Londa-Belagavi-Ghataprabha section in Belagavi to the nation.
Developed at a cost of about Rs 930 crore.
The project will enhance the capacity of the busy Mumbai-Pune-Hubli-Bengaluru railway line. Thereby boosting trade, commerce, and economic activities in the region. Modi has also laid the foundation for six multi-village planning initiatives. Under the Central’s Jal Jeevan Mission in Belagavi. The projects will be completed at an estimated cost of 1.585 crore rupees. And will benefit approximately 8.8 lakh residents living across more than 315 villages.
