Since 1977–1978, when the interest rate on EPF was 8%, this rate hasn’t been this low. Its rate was 8.5% in 2020–2021.

According to a source, the Central Board of Trustees (CBT), the top decision-making body of the Workers’ Provident Fund Organization, will begin to make decisions about the interest rate on EPF for 2022–2023 on Monday afternoon.
