You have big news if you have also purchased a Train ticket. Millions of people ride trains every day. Therefore, whether you intend to purchase a train ticket or if you already have, be aware that the Railways have altered the rules. The passengers will benefit from new regulations that Railways has published regulating the purchase of train tickets.
Today, we’ll discuss a train regulation that allows you to transfer your ticket to anyone.
In other words, a passenger may give a ticket to a member of their family, such as a mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband, or wife. The only family members in whose names you can transfer your ticket, per railway regulations, are your parents, brothers, sons, daughters, or your wife. Your closest friends will not be able to travel on your ticket as a result.
How to complete a transfer ticket
You must first carry the printed copy of the ticket to the closest railway station to have it transferred. Bring identification proof, such as an Aadhaar card, for the individual whose name the ticket is being transferred. You must apply for a ticket transfer when applying.
24 hours must pass before the transfer is made.
If you want to change the name on your ticket, you must apply 24 hours in advance, per railway regulations. You must apply 48 hours in advance if you wish to attend the wedding. You only have one shot, so let me be clear: you can only change the name on your ticket once; you cannot do this repeatedly.
