Digital payment system Google Pay has introduced a new UPI PIN-free ‘Lite’ option in an effort to facilitate transactions and speed up processing times. Users of this new payment method will be able to add a total of Rs 4,000 and a maximum of Rs 2,000 twice within a 24-hour period for fast transactions up to Rs 200 in a single click.
The UPI Lite functionality of Google Pay
According to the information, the UPI Lite service is independent of in-the-moment bank transactions. This means that the user will still be able to conduct business at any time of day, even if the linked bank’s server is offline. For every transaction, the user is not required to input their UPI PIN. Same. One-click is all it takes to make a payment from your wallet.
Utilizing UPI Lite
- Google Pay must be open on the mobile device in order to use UPI Lite.
- In the top right corner, click the profile photo.
- In the Payment Method section, choose UPI Lite.
- Choose the bank account that you wish to connect to UPI Lite.
- To add money to your Lite wallet, enter up to Rs. 2000.
- To verify the top-up, enter the PIN.
- You can start utilizing Lite in this manner.
Just one account may be used
The user should be aware that only one Lite account is necessary for Google Pay. A user is only allowed to use one of his linked bank accounts for Lite if he has numerous bank accounts overall.
