2021 saw the launch of the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme by the Rajasthani government. Each household received yearly cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the previous program. After that, in the fiscal year 2022–2023, Chief Minister Gehlot increased the coverage under the program from 5 lakh to 10 lakh. Following that, this sum was raised to Rs 25 lakh.

Each Chiranjeevi household will also receive an Rs. 5 lakh accident insurance policy from the government. Families that participate in the program can also receive treatment for major illnesses such as Covid-19, black fungus, cancer, paralysis, heart surgery, neurosurgery, and organ transplants.
