On Friday, Tecno, a manufacturer of mobile devices, revealed its new Tecno Poca 5 and Tecno Pova 5 pro smartphones in India at its World of Technology event. The gadget was just unveiled in India today, but it will be made available there the following week. The Pova 5 Pro, which resembles the Nothing Phone (2) and has an Arc interface with LED interface, is a standout in the Pova line. The business also displayed its MEGABOOK laptop at the New Delhi event. Both smartphones have a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, 256GB of internal storage, and the HiOS 13.1 OS, which is based on Android 13.

Price details for the Tecno Pova 5 and Pova 5 Pro will be released on August 14. Amazon.in will be the only place to purchase both models. The Tecno Pova 5 comes in three colors: Hurricane Blue, Mecha Black, and Amber Gold, but it lacks LED lighting like the Nothing Phone (2). This model has a “3D Turbo Mecha” panel, a first for the industry. The Pova 5 Pro is available in two colorways—Silver Fantasy and Dark Illusion—and has LED lighting. The Nothing Phone (2)’s patterns are also seen on the phone’s back.
A MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset drives
the 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display on the Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The device has a 16MP front camera for selfies in addition to two 50MP AI shooters on the back. The phone has 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging is present. On top of Android 13 OS, the phone runs HiOS 13.1. The Tecno Pova 5 likewise boasts the same set of specifications, with the exception of a larger 6,000mAh battery and an 8MP front camera.
