Tata Motors has unveiled the facelift version of Nexon, its most popular small SUV. Although the firm has already revealed the design and functions, the launch is scheduled for September 14. A significant design change has been made to the new Tata Nexon. Along with this, updated interior design and new amenities have been added, increasing the appeal of Tata’s best-selling SUV.
Tata Nexon Exterior Facelift
Thanks to the freshly created DRLs, headlights, and front portion, the new Nexon appears rather svelte. Along with new wheel designs, the Nexon receives an updated front bumper with bi-functional LED headlamps. New tail lamps and a new bumper are added to the back, and they are connected. The updated Tata Nexon will be offered in six color options – Purple, Blue, Grey, Dark Grey, White, and Red.
Interior & Features of the Redesigned Tata Nexon
Major modifications have also been made to the Nexon’s interior. A new two-spoke steering wheel, a touch-operated FAT panel, JBL speakers, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, height-adjustable front seats, heated seats, wireless charging, a sunroof, a rear AC vent, and connected car technology are just a few of the goodies available on the SUV.
Six airbags, a 360-degree camera,
ABS with EBD, a reversing camera, front parking sensors, ISOFIX seat anchors, universal 3-point seatbelts, electronic stability control, and auto-dimming rearview mirrors are also included.
Engine details for the redesigned Tata Nexon
A 1.2-liter petrol engine with 118 horsepower will power the 2017 Tata Nexon makeover. It will be available with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or 7-speed DCT gearbox. The second engine will be a 1.5-liter diesel unit with 113 horsepower and options for a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. Additionally, its electric variant will be released.
