Tata Motors just unveiled the Nexon’s facelift version. The launch date is set for September 14. However, the cost of the Nexon was revealed by Tata Motors even before the product introduction. Tata Motors deleted the Instagram comment in which the pricing was mentioned, therefore it is difficult to verify whether or not that price is accurate. Actually, a Tata Motors official account issued a comment in response to an Instagram user who had inquired about the cost of the Nexon, stating that it was Rs 7.39 lakh (initial/ex-showroom). This comment was later removed.
Continued bookings for the new Nexon makeover
The new Nexon facelift SUV is now available for pre-order. It can be reserved online or through the network of accredited dealers. The costs, however, have not yet been disclosed. Prices will be made public on September 14, 2023. It is important to note that the new Tata Nexon facelift features numerous design and functional upgrades over the model it replaces. Furthermore, the inside has been updated.
Features of the new Tata Nexon
It now has a sleeker front part. Its headlights and DRL are newly designed. Both the front and rear bumpers have been updated. The wheel is a novel design. There are modern, connected taillamps. The cabin has undergone significant alterations. The following features are available: a new two-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a touch-operated FATC panel, wireless charging, JBL speakers, height-adjustable and ventilated front seats, a sunroof, connected car technology, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, and six airbags. There will be options for features including ABS with EBD, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, electronic stability control, front parking sensors, and auto-dimming rearview mirrors.
Options for the new Tata Nexon’s powertrain
A 1.2-liter petrol engine with 118 horsepower will power the 2019 Nexon facelift. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or 7-speed DCT transmission. There will also be a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 113 horsepower that may be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox.
