Tata Five’s standing in the Indian auto industry is rising. In August, the Tata Punch was the second-best-selling SUV. More than this has only been sold by Maruti Brezza. Punch defeated everyone except Brezza. Brezza was first in sales, and Punch came in second. Due to the punch, sales of other well-known SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Creta decreased. Not only that, but Punch and Brezza sales have also been appallingly low. The difference between the sales of Punch and Brezza was just 49 units. Brezza has only sold 49 more units than Punch.

Regarding Tata Punch
It is significant that Punch has quickly solidified its position in the market. In India, it helped to popularise the micro SUV market. Punch costs between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a single 1.2-liter gasoline engine but two gearbox choices: a 5-speed manual and an automatic manual gearbox (AMT). When running on petrol, this engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm, but in CNG mode, the output is less. The CNG model has a 5-speed manual gearbox as the only option.
