However, as the board has not yet provided an official confirmation, rumors currently state that there may be an additional delay in the official notification’s issuance.

Details of the 2023 UP Police Constable Recruitment Positions
Out of the 52,699 positions available, the UPPRPB will fill 41,811 with constables for the Civil Police Wing, 8,540 with the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), 1,341 with the UP Special Security Force (UPSSF), and 1,007 with firefighters. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized Indian board in the 12th grade. Before applying, candidates should carefully check the age limit for each role, as it varies based on the category. The maximum age restriction for reserve category candidates is now lower than the previous limit for UP Police Constables.
For men, the age range in the
reserved category is 18 to 22 years old, while for women, it is 18 to 25 years old. Male OBC/ SC/ ST applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 28; female applicants in the same category must be between the ages of 18 and 31. Candidates should be aware that there is an additional age relaxation of three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates. Additionally, candidates who live in Uttar Pradesh will be eligible for reservations during the appointment process in accordance with State Personnel Department norms.
Selection Procedure for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023
There are three stages to the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Selection Process. First, candidates will take a written test using a computer. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be administered to those who pass the written exam. Physical examination and a round of document verification are part of the last phase.
