The 2024 Kia Sonet Facelift is now public. Since its initial release in 2020, it has gotten its first significant update. Bookings for it will open on December 20, 2023. With eleven color options, the redesigned Sonet will be available in seven variants: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line. Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Matte Graphite, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Clear White, Pewter Olive, and Matte Grey are examples of monotone hues. Intense Red and Glacier White Pearl with Black Roof are included in the dual-tone option at the same time.
The 2024 Kia Sonet’s standout features
include a redesigned front fascia with an inverted L-shaped LED DRL, freshly engineered LED headlamps, new LED fog lamps, and a light bar at the back. The two taillights are connected by the light bar. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, updated air conditioning panels, voice-activated window functions, ventilated front seats, and a digital instrument cluster are all added to the cabin. Additionally, it offers ADAS Level-1, which has ten characteristics.
The powertrain options of the previous model
are carried over into the new Sonet. Its 1.2-liter NA petrol engine produces 115Nm and 82bhp. A 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 250Nm and 114bhp is included. In addition, there is a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 178 horsepower and 172 Nm. The gearbox options are as follows: five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed IMT, six-speed automatic, and seven-speed DCT.
It will face competition from SUVs
such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza. Let us inform you that Sonet is the company’s second-best-selling vehicle, behind Seltos. With this new version, sales should continue to rise for the corporation.
