Hero Maverick will face competition from motorcycles such as Triumph Speed 400, Jawa 350, Honda CB 350, and Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the Indian market.
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Mavrick 440,
its most expensive motorcycle, in the Indian market. Its price points range from Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh. With its pricing and design, this bike—which is based on the Harley Davidson X440—enters the luxury market.
The Maverick 440 shares many parts
and produces the same amount of power as the Harley. It has a 440cc, single-cylinder engine with 27 horsepower, just like the Harley-Davidson X440. In terms of torque, it is 2 Nm less than that of a Harley Davidson at 36 Nm.
The 6-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist
clutch a new addition to the engine, which has been modified to fit the bike’s personality. The Maverick 440 features a strong tank and an aggressive roadster-style styling. The wheels are 17 inches in diameter.
The bike also features
a 43mm telescopic fork up front, with 320mm of front and 240mm of rear disc, and 175mm of ground clearance. A complete LED lighting setup and a circular headlight with H-shaped DRLs are two more unique stylistic cues. Digital speedos provide gear indicators, turn-by-turn navigation, and other features.
